Das Engagement von ALDI Nord für Tierwohl begründet sich durch unser Selbstverständnis von Qualität und Verantwortung sowie dadurch, dass wir eine große Anzahl von tierischen Rohstoffen und Produkten mit verarbeiteten tierischen Rohstoffen handeln. Ziel des Tierwohl-Engagements von ALDI Nord ist die Weiterentwicklung des Tierwohl-Niveaus bei der Herstellung unserer Produkte.

Our success is the prerequisite for us to develop further and assume responsibility. The commitment of ALDI Nord to animal welfare is based on our self-perception of quality and responsibility as well as on the fact that we sell a large quantity of animal-based raw materials and products with processed animal-based raw materials. The aim of the animal welfare commitment of ALDI Nord is the further development of the animal welfare standard when manufacturing our products.

“As part of our National Animal Welfare Purchasing Policy ALDI North Germany has set itself the target of refraining from using any eggs from hens reared in cages and small-group housing systems in 100% of our processed egg products. We pursue this target with great commitment and are delighted about the appreciation of our commitment with the Good Egg Award.”
